The global industrial landscape is shifting away from traditional "smoke and steel" toward data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and green energy, said Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD),  disclosing that Ethiopia is actively implementing the realities of "Industry 4.0."

At a time when global supply chains are being disrupted by geopolitical tensions and "pragmatism" has become the essential solution, Ethiopia is strengthening its logistics foundation by linking Free Trade Zones with dry ports.

Additionally, Ethiopia's ability to produce clean, renewable energy with zero-emission filtration is attracting numerous international solar and aluminum manufacturers. 

The Prime Minister emphasized that by correcting the mistakes of the past, such as loss-making investments and resource waste, the country is ensuring sustainable economic development. The focus has shifted toward projects with quick returns (like fertilizer factories) and a strategic emphasis on urbanization.
