Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has affirmed that Ethiopia’s journey toward prosperity will not be halted by any obstacle and that development initiatives will continue to be strengthened.

In a speech delivered at the inauguration of the Asela Wind Farm, the Prime Minister stated that the government remains fully committed to executing projects that transform the lives of its citizens.

Highlighting that Ethiopia’s development has been forged through immense struggle and sacrifice, the Prime Minister remarked:

"The journey toward prosperity we have begun is built on a foundation of blood so that it remains unshaken by any clamor."

To those skeptical of these developmental strides, he added:

"For those who doubted us when we began, and remained skeptical even as we cut the ribbons: may our prayers grant you long life so that we may show you our success again and again."

He emphasized that the government's achievements would serve as the definitive response to its critics.

Warning against any attempts to disrupt this progress, Prime Minister Abiy stated that the government would not remain passive.

"If there is any obstacle in our path, we will uproot it like any stump and move forward."

The Prime Minister also noted that the world is currently in a state of great upheaval, warning that nations failing to secure their food, energy, and institutions face the risk of collapse. He explained that Ethiopia is actively building the resilience necessary to navigate these global challenges.

Finally, Prime Minister Abiy called upon Ethiopian farmers to intensify their efforts to feed the nation and stressed the importance of cultivating an enlightened, educated generation to safeguard the future against tyranny and servitude.

"We must lay a foundation so our children do not endure the hardships that we and our fathers faced," he concluded, reaffirming that Ethiopia’s future remains bright.
