Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has praised the national dialogue commissioners for their work over the past years, thanking them for their patience, professionalism, and high ethical standards in advancing the process to its current stage.

Emphasizing that a culture of dialogue is highly important for countries like Ethiopia, the Prime Minister stated that building a strong civic culture requires continuous practice of discussion and a mature spirit of mutual understanding. He highlighted that the process has shown the great value of mutual listening across society, noting that it has reflected the views and discussion outcomes of more than 90 percent of Ethiopians from all corners of the country.

As the nationally significant dialogue process transitions into its next phase aimed at producing tangible results, PM Abiy Ahmed called on all stakeholders to contribute constructively and uphold a shared, firm commitment to ensuring peace, unity, and lasting stability for the country.
