Government Fully Committed to Implementing National Dialogue Outcomes – PM Abiy Ahmed

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has reaffirmed the government's full readiness to accept and implement recommendations arising from the National Dialogue process.

During the presentation of the National Dialogue Commission’s performance report, the Prime Minister expressed deep appreciation for the 11 commission members. He commended their patience, professional competence, and "soldier-like" commitment to their national duty despite numerous challenges. He noted that having such experienced and knowledgeable citizens is a significant asset and a source of pride for the nation.

Prime Minister Abiy emphasized that a culture of dialogue and listening is vital for Ethiopia, stating that a strong civic culture is built when the results of such discussions are put into action. He described the current dialogue process as an unprecedented historical opportunity, made possible by the significant sacrifices and struggles of many.

The Prime Minister concluded by stating that the Commission’s report serves as a lasting legacy for future generations. He assured the public that the government is fully prepared to embrace, refine, and integrate any recommendations from this historic process into its daily operations and governance.
