State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hadera Abera, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, to discuss deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations.
During the courtesy call, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial relationship. Key areas of focus included the establishment of regular political consultations, the expansion of economic cooperation, and strategies to drive increased private sector investment.
In addition to bilateral economic matters, the leaders discussed regional stability, agreeing to advance joint efforts toward promoting peace and security across the Horn of Africa, the Gulf, and the broader region.
