Ethio Telecom CEO Frehiwot Tamru and African Development Bank (AfDB) Vice President Solomon Quaynor held a high-level strategic meeting to accelerate the implementation of Ethio Telecom’s "Next Horizon: Digital & Beyond 2028" strategy and Ethiopia’s broader digital transformation.

Both institutions reviewed progress in modernizing telecom networks, expanding 5G and rural connectivity, and scaling digital ecosystems—including Telebirr, Zemen GEBEYA, and znexus.
