Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed inaugurated the Grandeur Ceramic Factory in Mojo town this morning, marking a key milestone in the nation's industrialization journey and the "Made in Ethiopia" initiative.

The prime minister described the facility as a practical demonstration of the country’s movement to expand industrial capacity nationwide while attracting international investment.

The factory is set to produce ceramic goods that meet international standards for quality and competitiveness. Notably, the project sources over 80 percent of its raw materials locally. According to the Prime Minister, this achievement will strengthen Ethiopia’s ability to harness its own natural resources and will significantly reduce the country's dependence on imported goods.
