Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has shared a meal on Sunday evening with 128 Rwandan medical practitioners currently pursuing specialty training in Ethiopia, along with more than 400 of their colleagues from across the continent.

The practitioners are part of a growing community of African physicians dedicating themselves to the expertise and excellence that the continent’s healthcare future demands. They are being trained within institutions that are helping to shape the next generation of African medical leadership.

"Through shared learning and purpose, we continue building a healthier Africa together," the prime minister stated.
