Following a session of the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited a housing development demonstration site to highlight the implementation of highly accelerated and modern construction technologies. The site showcased three simultaneous construction methods: 3D printing, light steel prefabrication, and container housing.

According to the Prime Minister, these methods demonstrate that premium-quality homes can be delivered in a matter of days or weeks rather than months or years, proving that speed and quality no longer need to be compromised through the adoption of new technology. Prime Minister Abiy noted that this caliber of innovation has the potential to fundamentally alter the trajectory of the national housing program by providing a model that can be easily deployed, replicated, and scaled across the country. He concluded that the project aligns advanced technology with the national vision, serving as proof that the government is moving in the right direction.
