National Election Board of Ethiopia Announces Results for 24 Constituencies

Following the elections held for the House of People's Representatives and regional councils, the National Election Board of Ethiopia has made public the results for 24 constituencies finalized across four regions.

In a statement issued today, the board announced that based on the results finalized from these constituencies, the Prosperity Party has won 12 regional council seats and 11 House of People's Representatives seats.

The party won eight regional council seats and 11 House of People's Representatives seats in the Oromia region, two regional council seats in the Amhara region, one regional council seat in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, and one regional council seat in the Gambella region.

On the other hand, the National Election Board stated that the National Movement of Amhara (NAMA) won one seat in the House of People's Representatives in the Amhara region.

The National Election Board of Ethiopia noted that its regulations allow for the progressive announcement of finalized constituency results. Consequently, it announced that it will continue to make further incoming results public to the public in the same manner.
