Ethiopia and Nigeria have officially signed a landmark bilateral agreement in Addis Ababa to facilitate the transfer of convicted persons between the two nations. 

This pact has been finalized by Ethiopia's Minister of Justice, Hanna Arayaselassie, and Nigeria's Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi, marking a significant milestone in their long-standing diplomatic relationship. 

Both nations have expressed their firm commitment to this cooperation, which has now laid the essential groundwork for further collaboration on legal matters. 

As the agreement moves into its implementation phase, both ministers have emphasized their readiness to ensure this partnership effectively serves the justice systems of both countries.
