Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has provided a progress update on the development of the Bishoftu International Airport, describing it as the largest aviation infrastructure project in Africa's history.
PM Abiy emphasized that construction is proceeding around the clock with "unyielding determination." Upon completion, the new facility is expected to accommodate 110 million passengers annually, a milestone that the Prime Minister noted will place Ethiopia among the world’s premier aviation hubs.
