Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has officially launched this year’s Green Legacy Initiative, setting an ambitious target of planting 8 billion seedlings for the current season.
This latest phase marks a significant step forward in Ethiopia’s comprehensive national plan to reach a total of 65 billion trees.
Encouraging nationwide participation in the effort, the Prime Minister stated, "Join the movement and leave your green legacy for future generations!"
