Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has officially launched this year's rainy season volunteer campaign, initiating a new housing project in the South West Shewa Zone.

The campaign kicked off in Gurura Village, located within the Goro District. According to the Prime Minister's announcement, the initiative will involve the construction of 20 new homes, built in accordance with the design of the rural corridor initiative.

In a message marking the launch, the Prime Minister highlighted the seasonal spirit of giving, stating, "As the rainy season arrives, the hand of kindness we extend to our people grows longer with it."

Emphasizing the critical importance of national unity and mutual support, PM Abiy concluded with a direct call to action for the public. "It is only when we extend a hand to one another that we lift our country together," he stated, adding, "which is why I urge every Ethiopian to join this effort."
