Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) stated that Ethiopia is continuously elevating its status by independently executing unprecedented, massive development projects.

In a message shared on his social media platforms, the Prime Minister expressed his profound honor at attending the "Ethiopia Delivers" national summit. Reflecting on the event's theme, "From Reform to Lasting Change," he noted that the gathering provided a moment to review the country’s journey through various stages and evaluate the milestones reached today.

Highlighting the nation's capacity to build the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) on its own, PM Abiy emphasized that Ethiopia is consistently transitioning to a higher level of development.

He stressed that these monumental achievements are not the result of chance. Rather, they are the outcome of resolute decisions rooted in the spirit of Medemer—the firm conviction that lasting change is achieved only by standing together.

The Prime Minister added that the current reforms are not an end goal in themselves but rather a strong foundation being laid for successive generations.

Describing nation-building as a continuous and collective endeavor rather than the work of a single generation, PM Abiy concluded with a call to action: "With this firm conviction, I call upon every Ethiopian to carry this spirit forward, to magnify what they have received, and to move towards an even higher peak."
