Following the Prosperity Party's victory in the 7th General Election, top leaders of the State of Qatar have sent congratulatory messages to FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Ph.D.).

In messages sent, respectively, by the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani; the Deputy Emir, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani; and the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the leaders commended the party's significant electoral win.

The Qatari leadership extended its best wishes to the Prime Minister and the Prosperity Party for a successful term in office. Furthermore, they reaffirmed their commitment to working in partnership and further strengthening the robust diplomatic relations and friendship between Ethiopia and Qatar.
