Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced the official inauguration today of the modern Hamasa Model Village, a 79.4-hectare development built as part of the Rural Corridor Development Program.

Designed to improve farmers’ livelihoods and productivity, the newly launched village is equipped with a range of integrated amenities. These include modern sanitation facilities, livestock shelters, vegetable gardens, biogas systems, and beehives. According to the Prime Minister's statement, these facilities are intended to ensure comprehensive prosperity and a better quality of life for the residents.

Describing the model village as a tangible result of current reform efforts, Prime Minister Abiy emphasized that the project elevates the dignity, comfort, and economic well-being of rural communities to a higher level.
