African political parties have committed to collaborative efforts aimed at transforming the continent and enhancing the lives of its citizens, as announced at the 12th African Political Parties Summit held in Accra, Ghana.

The Summit, themed "From Politics to Prosperity," concluded with an emphatic call for unity among political factions across Africa.

Present at the event, Bikila Hurissa (PhD), Head of International and Public Relations at the Office of the Prosperity Party, emphasised that the discussions were centred on fostering economic growth, sustainable peace, and effective state-building initiatives that would ultimately benefit the populace.

The Summit brought together representatives from various political parties who recognised the pressing need for collaboration to tackle shared challenges.

Bikila stated, "This agreement represents a pivotal moment in our journey towards continental transformation. By setting aside differences, we can build a strong foundation for a prosperous Africa."

In the meantime, Vice President Adem Farah echoed this sentiment, urging political leaders to prioritise trust and cooperation.

"Our focus must shift from individual party agendas to a collective vision for development," he asserted. The leaders agreed that fostering a stable and democratic political culture is essential for long-term success.

The delegates also discussed the importance of internal reforms within their respective parties to pave the way for lasting peace.

The African Governance Centre highlighted that such reforms are crucial for establishing a political environment conducive to growth and stability.

As the Summit concluded, participants expressed optimism about the future. They acknowledged that while challenges remain, the commitment to work together signals a new era of hope for African nations. "We are united in our mission to create a brighter future for all citizens," Bikila, Head of International and Public Relations concluded, underscoring the significance of this collective effort.
