Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa has declared that the reunification of his war-torn country must be achieved through dialogue, not military force. 

Speaking on Sunday, he rejected any notion of partition and accused Israel of meddling in southern Syria.

His remarks come as hundreds of protesters in the Druze-majority province of Sweida demonstrate over recent Druze-Bedouin clashes and call for self-determination, reported France 24.
