Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) offered a deep dive into the political narratives currently shaping the country, highlighting two extreme and opposing views regarding the political participation of the Oromo people. Both of these views, he noted, severely lack political maturity.

The first group, he explained, pushes the narrative that "it is now the Oromos' turn to dominate." He pointed out that these individuals are simply crying foul because the corrupt, discriminatory networks they once used to siphon off wealth and property have finally been dismantled.

On the flip side, the second group argues that "the Oromo have not received what they deserve." The Prime Minister described this faction as being consumed by an exclusionary, "if I am not the one leading" mentality, one that goes so far as to view the Oromo identity of others with deep suspicion.

Speaking in an interview with the Oromia Broadcasting Network tonight, he added that what is truly astonishing is how these two distinct groups are now working hand-in-hand despite holding inherently contradictory beliefs. Their shared goal? To dismantle the government and destabilize the nation. This alliance, he emphasized, clearly proves their motives are driven by selfish personal interests rather than any genuine demands of the public.

The Prime Minister proudly noted that the Oromo people are known for their generosity, having never snatched the wealth of others. He underscored that the true heart of their struggle has always been to live in unity and equality with all Ethiopians under the rule of law, never to establish supremacy at the expense of others.

Wrapping up his thoughts, he made it clear that no one will be allowed to forcefully take the wealth of the Oromo. He reaffirmed that his administration is committed to a political path where common wealth is shared fairly under the law, while personal wealth is shared out of love and free will.
