Palestine is set to compete in the Miss Universe pageant for the first time in its history, with its representative, Nadine Ayoub, preparing to take the international stage.

Palestinian officials confirmed that the 27-year-old beauty queen will represent her nation at the global event in Thailand this November. Ayoub, who holds degrees in literature and psychology, was crowned Miss Palestine in 2022.

In a brief message on her Instagram page, Ayoub expressed her pride in the historic moment. "I am proud to be a participant in this beauty pageant, which is the first time in Palestine's history that it will participate," she wrote.
