Renowned Arabic content creator and social media influencer Ali Dawoud has announced that his recent visit to Ethiopia has allowed him to physically confirm the country as the primary source of Abbay(Nile) River.

During a trip to the charming city of Bahir Dar, Dawoud stated that seeing the river's origins with his own eyes has practically corrected the misinformation and misconceptions he previously held. In an exclusive interview with EBC Dot Stream, the influencer explained that he had previously lacked adequate awareness that over 85 percent of the Nile's water originates from Ethiopia and Lake Tana.

Now that he has witnessed the reality firsthand and experienced the majesty of Lake Tana, Dawoud has pledged to work extensively to ensure the global community is no longer misled and learns these accurate facts. His upcoming efforts are expected to play a significant role in educating the global public with a correct understanding of the true source of the Nile. This experience has served as a historic moment, allowing him to bear powerful witness, clear up long-standing historical confusions regarding water ownership, and reveal the truth to the world.

Recalling a previous visit to Ethiopia 12 years ago, Dawoud also expressed great admiration for the remarkable transformation and progress Bahir Dar has achieved through recent corridor development projects. He testified that the new infrastructure in Bahir Dar—often referred to as the jewel of Lake Tana—has made the city even more beautiful upon his return. Alongside the physical development, the content creator enthusiastically praised the exceptional humility and warm hospitality of the local people.
