Preventing Ethiopia from mending the historical and geographical fractures it faced in past eras, as well as obstructing it from asserting its natural rights, has long been the primary objective of our historical adversaries.
These forces work day and night to distract Ethiopians from focusing on Abay (the Nile) and the Red Sea, keeping them consumed by internal conflict and division instead.
In particular, Egypt’s ambition for a water monopoly and its strategic conspiracy to keep the Red Sea region stifled—supported by internal traitors—have become increasingly obvious in their aim to keep Ethiopia diminished.
However, no form of external pressure, diplomatic maneuvering, or false propaganda can sever Ethiopians from their national interests in the Red Sea and the Abay River.
At whatever cost, our eyes will never waver from this agenda of sovereignty. This is not merely a question of justice to rectify centuries of historical injustice; it is our firm foundation for securing our nation's economic independence by strengthening regional economic integration.
Turning this historical and geographical ambition from a mere wish into a tangible reality requires building a new patriotic generation that sets aside internal differences to stand united for its national interest.
This new generation is a resolute collective—unyielding to enemy conspiracies and acutely aware of the greatness of Abay and the strategic significance of the Red Sea.
Throughout its history, Ethiopia has triumphantly overcome the most severe trials, and it continues to safeguard its national dignity while navigating present challenges.
Even as the conspiracies of our adversaries stretching from Abay to the Red Sea persist, the foundation of Ethiopia’s resurgence remains firmly established.
Our agenda will endure forever as the rallying point for this new patriotic generation and the guarantee of our national elevation.
