The Chief Administrator of the Sidama Regional State, Desta Ledamo, has urged the public to support local products, declaring, “Ethiopia is producing; let's buy Made in Ethiopia.”

He made the statement at the opening of an exhibition and bazaar themed “Buy Made in Ethiopia,” an event organized by the Sidama Region’s Trade and Market Development Bureau and the regional Trade Sector Association Council.

During his address, the Chief Administrator highlighted the significant efforts underway to transform the Sidama region into an industrial hub and increase its production output. He also noted that the government is encouraging more investors to enter the manufacturing sector to boost exports and improve the trade balance by supplying goods to the domestic market.
