Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced the summit's conclusion, underscoring Ethiopia's proven ability to translate commitments into tangible, large-scale investments in its food systems. He emphasized that strong local leadership, a resilient green economy, and integrated infrastructure across sectors are actively strengthening school feeding programs, expanding job opportunities, and boosting local markets.

These efforts, he stated, are laying a solid foundation for inclusive and sustainable development. The Prime Minister also expressed Ethiopia's pride in co-hosting the important summit and extended a warm welcome to participants from around the world, inviting those staying longer to explore the nation's rich history, culture, and natural beauty.

Concurrently, President Taye Astke Selassie, at the closing session of #UNFSS2025 (UNFSS+4), conveyed profound gratitude to the entire UN System, its leadership, and staff for maintaining the food system agenda despite ongoing challenges. He stressed that successful global actions are inextricably linked to multilateral efforts, with the United Nations at their core.
