Representatives from various countries attending the 39th African Union (AU) Summit stated that the rapid urban development and aesthetic transformation being witnessed in the capital serve as a significant model for other African nations.
Kintapi Robins, a summit participant from Eswatini who recalled visiting Addis Ababa for the first time six years ago, remarked that the city he encountered this time is entirely different. "Addis Ababa has become increasingly beautiful and clean over time," he said, expressing his amazement at such remarkable progress being achieved in such a short period. He further noted that the growth Addis Ababa is demonstrating can serve as an example for other African countries, highlighting that strong political commitment is essential for such success.

Similarly, Siten Belemo from South Africa praised the city for expanding its tourist destinations and becoming more comfortable for both residents and visitors alike.
She noted that the changes seen in the capital are directly linked to "Agenda 2063," which envisions a prosperous Africa. She added that for Africa to realize its dreams, the diligent effort of all its citizens is required. Furthermore, she pointed out that focus should be placed on the tourism and investment sectors, emphasizing that Africans must work together by focusing on their shared values.
