UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Angola on Sunday for a state visit focused on bolstering bilateral relations, cooperation, and joint economic development initiatives.
The visit, according to Viory Video News Agency, underscores a growing partnership between the two nations.
Upon arrival, President Al Nahyan was greeted by Angolan and Emirati officials. Key discussions with Angolan President João Manuel Lourenço are slated to center on strengthening ties, particularly in economics and development.
The UAE and Angola have steadily deepened their relationship through various agreements in recent years. These include accords on the Elimination of Double Taxation in 2018, the Promotion and Protection of Mutual Investment in 2017, and aviation cooperation in 2021, laying the groundwork for further collaboration. This visit is expected to produce even more agreements.
